How To Tell If You Are Psychic

There are some people who believe that psychics are born and others who believe that they develop a sixth sense. There has always been a fascination with knowing what the future holds and whether there is a life after death. There are some people who even question whether paranormal activity actually exists. There is much controversy surrounding this subject and as yet extra sensory perception has not been scientifically proven.

There are many famous medium, clairvoyants and the like who attribute their gifts to ancestral lines and believe that their gifts have been passed on to them from a relative. It is not clear whether this is for genetic reasons or because this was a trade of the relative which they passed down through the family lines.



It can take some time before a person realises that they have intuitive, telepathic or clairvoyant ability as often the experience is put down to coincidence. There are others who are too afraid to confront the issues and this is quite often the case for people who have premonitions.

A psychic has the ability to see beyond the normal five senses and this extra perception is not recognised in mainstream education. The concept of extra sensory ability attracts a great deal of controversy since this is something that has not been scientifically proven. There are countless encounters and stories and revelations which remain unexplained which would seem to back up the existence of the paranormal. The mainstream school of thought leans towards the scientific approach to life and perhaps this could have some influence on our ability to develop the sixth sense.

Perhaps the psychic ability resides in the side of the brain that is artistic, musical and creative. It could be possible therefore, that as we develop our education we learn to make the most of our logical processes on the other side of the brain. The side where psychic ability could exist is not developed and is dormant until we tap into this potential. We hear of musicians, poets and artists having talents and perhaps psychic ability is a latent talent within all of us.

You could say you are psychic when you receive information or knowledge which gives you insight into a past, present or future event. Perhaps you sense that there is a presence around you and you know that you are being helped by a being from another dimension. Your intuition is strong and you could even form a telepathic link with someone and have the ability to know what they are thinking. You may know when the phone rings who the person on the end of the phone is going to be. You could look at someone and receive information about that person.
