The place of psychics and mediums in today's world

Personally I think that psychics and mediums allow us as humans to reach out to the invisible spiritual world out there that really exists yet we do not have that ability to freely reach out to this mysterious axis. This axis is there, but we can't reach it as it is beyond our normal five senses.

Called the "ether realm" by Maria Duval, it is filled with spirits and souls but it comes down to our physical world through intimate interaction with our physical bodies.

This interaction is very subtle to the extent that many people do not believe in it. That is why the ability for a psychic or spiritualist to discern the intent and motives of these forces has made them figures to be either respected, questioned or even hated. Rational humans just do not believe in all these and have labeled them as cheats or charlatans.

I feel that to really answer our innate question of "what is the meaning of life", we have to reach out to the spiritual world. You may not be questioning yourself this question now, but most of us will, one day.

That's why I like spirituality topics as I question my existence in this increasingly demanding world. Through spirituality, I gain more insight into life and spiritual ways of creating wealth and luck. Basically, many successful men have been spiritual in the way they are creating their wealth.

Life is full of mystical and magical experiences why risk losing out on any of them because you were to jaded to try and understand the true factors influencing the world we live in.

Why not pull back your disbelief and set aside your social norms to psychic readings? You may just find the answers you have been seeking that seem to elude you no matter how hard you try to find them. You may just find out how the spiritual realm is affecting your life.

Tarot cards

tarot cards Maria DuvalPsychic Maria Duval is a great tarot reader. Through her books, I have learned something about tarot too!

If you are using the tarot cards to seek for a divine reading, focus on the question really well and do not think that the tarot is designed to answer yes or no. Ask sensible questions. The answers revealed only serve as a guideline or advice. One should never take it as a life and death issue.

Well, some people do feel that tarot cards have helped them through some bad situations, and I agree that do happen. Some people need guidance just for a short while when gathering thoughts as there are different interpretations to the card shown, depending on the "power" of the reader. Anyone can be a reader, if you know the meaning behind and how to explain it.

As I said, tarot cards cannot give you a direction in life. The deck of cards cannot solve your financial woes or your luckless love life. They cannot answer whether you will get married or have a baby on any given day or date.

Despite this limitations, many still turn to tarot for divinations as this is a centuries old practice and people like to be assured in their life when bad patches happen. That's why tarot serves many a purpose in life and journey.

The moment before we sleep is precious

I treasure the time just before I sleep. Not matter how tired or sleepy I may be, I'll spend at least ten or fifteen minutes to reflect on the day and jot down on my notebook what I've learned. It makes a good guidebook for teaching my kid too. I do my best to make her listen; it's not easy I must say. She has her own views most of the time.

This is a time where you can reflect on what has happened in the day; and, if you are relaxed and at peace, you may notice thoughts coming into your head about what it is you would like to do tomorrow. I also write down my objectives and I'll carry it around with me on the next day. Sometimes I need a presentation and I'll use the power of visualisation learned from Maria Duval to image what'd be going on successfully.

As I reflect, sometimes I see people who are important in my life in my mind's eye. These people may be your loved ones; or, people who have passed to Spirit - perhaps a long time ago - may come around you and work with you on a daily basis.

This period before sleep is a good time to send messages telepathically to loved ones who may be separated from you at the moment. Distance is no barrier: just a gentle loving thought held within the mind and heart using your feelings and emotions will go a long way.

It is said that this system works even for people who have passed over!! I'm not very sure about it..I do send some thoughts to them occasionally. The time before sleep is also a good time to send loving thoughts of healing and support to our friends and relatives who may benefit from this.

It is this feeling of wholeness and expanded vision that helps us to see our way around blockages. If you have any issues you would like to receive specific answers to, our subconscious mind will take over the question while we're asleep and work on it for us.

And do not be surprised that by the morning you are awake, you have already received the answers to your dilemma! It is so unbelievable.

forget your resentment

We have good memories. Especially at remembering something painful and poignant. That's why bad and painful experiences of suffering bring us angst and resentment. We live in hope that one day we'll get the revenge and get back to the guys who made us suffer. I guess that's a normal emotional thought. As long as I am able to mediate it and know where is the limit, there is no problem.

However, things start to go wrong horribly the moment your seed of resentment blossoms into a tree. It will terrorize you mentally and the resentment you have inside will tear you apart. Harboring painful pasts is not going to be good to our heart, body and mind. Piling the resentments against others make us slaves to them. The pain in our hearts is not going to be erased by taking revenge. Plotting revenge is also eating us up, inside out.

The best is, to release all these resentments by refusing to relive what has been tearing us apart. Leave all the pain to the Higher Self. By doing so, we have released our life from the grip of resentments. We are ready to face the future.

A healthier alternative to coke and soda

Days are getting hotter and while it is in our tradition to reach for a can of coke or soda to invigorate us, why not really go for a better drink to reward your body? I learn that one of the most refreshing ways to cool off on a hot summer day is drinking a tall glass of iced green tea.

People in Eastern Asia like Japan and China have long known the benefits of drinking green tea.

Some bare facts about green tea.

It is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis tree. The best green tea is grown in Japan and is harvested in the spring months. Recent research is revealing that this tea is particularly beneficial for your health. It is higher in antitoxins than the traditional black tea drunk in the West. Green tea has also been found to have vitamin C and fluoride.

Green tea has more of these properties than the traditional black teas because of the way it is processed is able to preserve its anti-oxidants and vitamins and reduce the level of caffeine.

There are various ways to serve up good refreshing green tea and I highly recommend all of us to change our dietary habit to something that is proven to be much healthier. Ditch your soda and coke and consume green tea. Yes it could be hard at the beginning. I found it hard at the beginning too, but the little voice in me kept encouraging me on. Now I find it tough without drinking at least a cup of green tea each day!

Watch out!

Speak about addiction. Yea, I talking about internet addiction. Last couple of weeks, I just spent too much time chatting, emailing and surfing and these make my normal routines in chaos. No longer I spent as much time taking care of my trucks. I just do not want it to create problems with my family. So far it is still so good but I think she realises I'd not watched as much TV as I used too.

Blogging has never interrupted me. I had known when to start and stop. I prefer to blog simple rather than putting too many useless widgets around clattering up the space. I prefer simple and neat.

But got addicted to chatting and emailing for the simple reason that I got stressed out too much and wanted relaxation and when I found some one online of my similar nature, I got too much addicted to chat and that I wanted to share all my thoughts and feelings.

Luckily the inner conscious was awake which was keeping a check on me. But the newly addicted mind insisted to get back online and keep writing every other day to my online friends.

No matter how, I am proud to be able to keep my consciousness awake. The Conscious keeps reminding me behind my mind that spending too much time on something is wasting precious time which can be spent on something more productive. Arthur, you've got to know you are about the cross the line! I don't wish to be taken advantage of and get deeper into this addiction which was like my smoker days.

Blessings to you :)

Know when to say "No"

It could be difficult to say "No" or turning a person down. Especially if the person asking you is a pretty thing. Deep inside, your subconscious tells you to say "No", but consciously, you unwillingly yet obligingly agree to it. It could be the hardest moments in your life. Imagine, some friends ask you to try out smoking. You know it was bad to your health, yet, in front of several pairs of eyes staring and cheering you, you unwillingly accepted. Do I deserve sympathy for that?

I just had that problem saying "No". That's why I do my best to steer clear of the possible situations which will make me unwillingly oblige. I had always thought saying 'NO' means you are getting into bad books of others. So I had been accepting things to do or execute at the cost of my own interests. This all happened till couple of years back.

At one point I realized it wasn't healthy. I started learning to say "NO" when absolutely it was not needed. It was tough in the beginning. People who were not used to receive "No" as an answer from me got shocked. But I had to do it. When I started doing it I realized how much of burden I was taking onto my self.
