I disagree with the Danger of Positive Thinking post. Affirmations and positive thinking(as long as it's positivity in higher vibe emotions) are two of the best methods to improve your life. Energy always attracts like energy.

Meditation will certainly improve your focus, but the question should be what are you focusing on? If you are in a lower vibe you will tend to focus on negative things. Use whatever is neccessary to place yourself in a positive vibration, whether its affirmations of meditation. You will then attract more positive people and circumstances into your life.
