FLORIDA GHOST HUNTERS JOINED BY OHIO STATE TESTED MEDIUM, TINIA ROSS

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.Today, Tinia (Ty-knee-ah) Ross joined the Florida Ghost Hunters, Investigation Team. "She brings a lot to the table." says, Jay Shoemaker, Lead Investigator from the Florida Ghost Hunters.

Tinia Ross, who has appeared on "Larry King Live" has joined the Florida Ghost Hunters in an effort to assist in Paranormal Investigations on businesses, homes, and wherever paranormal activity is reported in Florida.

Tinia has been clairvoyant since a small child and uses her clairvoyance together with terot cards when performing her readings. "I've been reading most all of my adult life." says Tinia, whose regular clients range from professionals in all fields to people in everyday life.

Originally from Michigan, Tinia graduated from the University of Michigan, with honors. She has read for John Edwards (of "Crossing Over" fame), and performed at numerous psychic fairs in the upper Midwest. As her Psychic reputation grew in Central Ohio, Tinia was tested by the University of Ohio, Department of Psychology, for her Clairvoyant abilities and scored extremely high, surprising testers, but not Tinia.

Recently Tinia moved from Columbus, Ohio to the beautiful Treasure Coast to be with her soul mate Gary, who she came to know while giving him a reading — which surprised the both of them.

Tinia is looking forward to living in Florida, providing her psychic abilities to the area and working with the Florida Ghost Hunters.

Tinia will assist in the paranormal investigative process, by using her gifts as a medium. Her feelings will be compared to any scientific evidence collected during an investigation conducted by the Florida Ghost Hunters Team.

Dead Is Just a Word
Is there life after death and, if so, how can we be sure? The incredibly gripping experiences and testimonials within the pages of this book will provide the answers to your unspoken questions; answers that will enlighten you and bring comfort to your very soul. If you believe the cherished friends and family members that you’ve lost to death over the years are really gone, you may find yourself considering the strong probability that they are still here in spirit form and remain ever present in your life. Excerpts from the book: My uncle was seriously injured and fell in and out of consciousness for at least six months as he lay in the hospital. My mother decided that we had to make the out of state trip to see him. She wanted to see her brother at least one last time if his death was imminent….. ….Although his words came very slowly and laboriously, he whispered to her “Al, I saw mom and she was holding me, comforting me and it was so loving and wonderful.” My grandmother had passed away close to forty years prior and my mother was astounded when this came out of my uncle’s mouth. Still, something in his eyes told her it was true. As the paramedics and doctors worked frantically to get his heart beating again, the experience Peter was having was little short of amazing, especially to him. He suddenly found himself in a laying position with his head on the lap of his loving grandmother; she stroked his hair and reassured him that somehow all was well and very peaceful. Several years prior, this very grandmother had passed away after a long, agonizing bout with cancer. A close friend, Frank, had a major heart attack in upstate New York while on vacation with his family. For four and a half minutes his heart had stopped beating…… …….Months after his recovery, I ran into him in a supermarket and stopped to talk with him. I asked him if he had had any experiences while his heart was stopped and they were trying to resuscitate him. He went on to explain that during the four and a half minutes that the doctors tried to resuscitate him, he found himself, his spirit self, up in the corner of the emergency room looking down on what was taking place below…… …..he saw both his wife and son standing in the opposite corner of the emergency looking extremely upset and frightened. Although he felt very saddened by the turmoil and upset that he had obviously brought his wife and son, he suffered a horrible inner conflict because there was a big part of him that really didn’t want to be brought back. The feelings of peace and love he felt were so all-encompassing that he wanted to stay exactly where he was. Perhaps these experiences serve to remind us that we’re only here on earth for a short time and that we should treasure every moment, love unconditionally and embrace our ultimate spiritual return home.

Marie Bradley has spent almost 20 years researching the phenomena associated with life after death and near death experiences. In 1986, she lost her dearly beloved mother to Alzheimer's disease. Shortly after her mother's death, Marie began to observe blatant signs that her mother was dead and gone physically but still very much alive and present spiritually. Fourteen years later, she lost her father to cancer and was once again to witness this amazing phenomena; audible and physical signs that the spirit of her father was still present. As the years passed, Marie became more sensitive to and more intrigued by the ever present signs of life after death. She decided to further research these incredible phenomena. Her research included the interviewing of many people who had gone through similar experiences as well as people who had had near death experiences and has found it be a fascinating if not enlightening journey. http://www.outskirtspress.com/webpage.php?isbn=1598005685

The Benefits Of A Flexible Attitude
Life is full of challenges, and many times we have to stop what we are doing to completely switch gears. Having the ability to be versatile, and developing a flexible attitude will go a long way in adjusting to the ebbs and tides that life will inevitably bring. When life or work seems too frustrating to deal with, all we may need to make it work is an attitude adjustment.

When we focus on fighting the obstacles that challenge us, we waste time and energy that could be used more productively if we only learned to "go with the flow" a little more often. If we switch our thinking, viewing obstacles and challenges in a different light, we can be successful in achieving so much more. We will also expend less time and energy if we aren't fighting against a current. This energy can then be focused elsewhere.

By implementing the following five helpful tips for developing a flexible attitude, you can find better ways to proceed through life, allowing yourself to flow a little more smoothly through its many ups and downs.

Embrace change ? Change is necessary to get anywhere in life, and embracing it takes a lot of courage and strength. After all, change brings us into new experiences, and often the unknown is scary for us. Change also brings a good omen, in that life is not remaining stagnant, but rather moving forward in different directions. We should allow life to carry us off into these directions so we can experience a different point of view, appreciating more what we do or don't have.

Envision a new outcome ? If we go through life expecting things to go as they always have, we can never open ourselves up to the possibility of great things. When our expectations don't arrive, we will be lost, not knowing which way to turn. If we can imagine our actions having different outcomes, we can be prepared for whatever life may bring us, good or bad. Opening our minds to new outcomes will also help us plan for when those outcomes are realized.

Enjoy the journey ? Key to making our attitudes more flexible is learning to look past the goal of getting something accomplished, and enjoy the trip along the way. If we constantly focus on doing something, achieving something, or acquiring something, we lose sight of ourselves and who we are being. Enjoying ourselves along the way to our goals will allow us to remain flexible in the steps we take to arrive at their completion, or our final destinations.

Explore different options ? When trying to reach a goal, why not try a new way of getting there? Developing a flexible attitude will be simple if we can practice being flexible in the choices that are important to us. Learning to step out of the box and choose a different path, or option, will often lead us to the new outcomes we?ve been envisioning.

Emotionally detach ? It is easy to become frustrated at times, but emotionally detaching from the situation will allow us to take a look at our options more carefully and objectively. Acting in response to difficulties is far different than reacting, and the former is the more productive choice. When a challenge arises, take the time to decide how to act, instead of reacting with rash behavior.

Remaining flexible throughout life may make you feel like you are loosening the reins on your goals and values. That is not the case, however. If we can stay flexible and adapt to change, we may find ourselves better off than we ever could have imagined.

Change
One thing in life is certain---change. Things never stay the same. If you are hoping for the status quo, then I?m afraid you will be disappointed. Just think back to how things were five years ago and you will realize that there is so very much that?s already different in a very short time.

I?m sure there are some of you who know people who refused to adapt to the computer age. I still know some ?old timers? who want to use word processors or even typewriters instead! Imagine. What is up with that?

Well, when change comes we have several options, some of which are more adaptive than others. Let?s take a look at them.

The first option is to refuse to change or adapt to any new circumstances, just like the person who still uses a word processor. These are generally people who are afraid of change. I also think that underlying that fear is the fear of being inadequate. When change requires new learning, as it often does, some people don?t think they will be able to master the new skills so it is easier to simply renounce the changes than adapt. The problem is that these are the people who are left in the dust.

The second possibility is the slow starter. These people usually start out in one of the first two mentioned roles---either refusing to change or anxiously running around trying to figure out what to do about it. They do not like change any more than the next person and they resist and resist until one day, they realize that the change may actually bring benefits. Once they see that there is a payoff for them, they fairly easily do the necessary things to adapt to the change.

A third possibility is what we see in the over anxious people in our midst. You know who they are. They are the ones who are always making mountains out of molehills and have a nervous energy about them whenever confronted with a novel situation. They imagine all the possible scenarios about what could occur and seem to just go around in circles. They don?t adapt to the change; they just worry themselves sick over it.

The final and most rewarding possibility are the people who understand that change is a part of everything. When we stop evolving, we start eroding. These people welcome change, in fact, they frequently generate it. They realize that change is what makes things happen. Change propels us forward. These people are quick to make the necessary adaptations and suffer the least from the inevitable.

Do you recognize your own character in any of the above descriptions? Have you read Spencer Johnson?s book, Who Moved My Cheese? This book is an excellent description of the four possible characters in the Change Game. In the book, the first character was a little person named Hem. Hem was afraid of change and believed it would make things worse. He avoided it at all costs. The second character was a mouse named, Scurry. Scurry ran around in circles, just attempting to do something, anything. Sometimes he was right, sometimes wrong but he was constantly in motion. The third character was a little person named Haw. Haw was slow to figure things out but eventually he adapted to the change and realized that the change could bring something better. However, the real winner was the mouse, Sniff. Sniff jumped into action early, sniffing out the terrain and making a choice on what to do next. He adapted the quickest.

Which character are you? Who would you like to be? What would you have to give up to be the character you really want to be? Would you like to make a plan right now to implement these changes into your life? It will require a commitment and a good plan.

This is where a coach can be helpful. When you identify an area in your life that requires some attention and you commit to making the necessary adjustments, it?s strange how life gets in the way sometime and we revert back to our previous ways. A coach is someone who can keep you on track and pointed in the direction of your goals. A coach will support your progress and hold you accountable for the goals you set.

The Roswell UFO Crash: A New Lead and a New Direction
It’s been nearly sixty years since the crash of an alleged Alien Spacecraft near Roswell, NM. Despite a multitude of credible civilian and military witnesses who claim the object and its occupants were from another world, we still lack absolute proof. As a result, researchers trying to solve this puzzle constantly hope for two things: Actual physical evidence and reliable witnesses.

Because the Roswell Crash took place in 1947, the likelihood of turning up any new first hand witnesses to the crash, military investigation or cover-up fades with each year that passes. The same may be said of physical evidence. Even if somebody found a shoe box full of metal or other strange material from the crash stashed in their attic, they might not even know what it was. That leaves the possibility of second or third hand witnesses.

While it’s easy to dismiss witnesses who didn’t actually experience the crash or aftermath, they can often provide serious researchers with some tidbit of information that can lead to more later. Recently, I was contacted by a man living in California who I’ll call Al. After listening to the late Colonel Philip Corso (author of ‘The Day after Roswell’) speak about events surrounding the Roswell UFO Crash on a late night radio show, Al began to give some thought to something that had occurred earlier in his life.

Al moved to San Francisco, California, in 1964. Sometime in the winter of 1964-65, he was set up on a blind date with ‘a good-looking young blond woman.’ While he could not recall her name or where they went on the date, he did remember an unusual conversation they had at the end of the evening.

Although the two didn’t hit it off romantically, they did seem to enjoy talking with one another. The topics included philosophy, astronomy and science fiction. All very popular themes of the day. At some point the young woman asked Al if he believed in the existence of other life forms or Alien life in the Universe. Al said he did and gave a few reasons why, which included the size of the Universe and the common scientific probabilities of the day. The young woman almost immediately gave affirmation to Al by saying something like, “Yea, you’re right,” and followed up with a most amazing story.

Al’s date began her narrative by explaining that she was the daughter of an Air Force Chaplain. The family lived in Roswell and her father was serving on the Base known as Roswell Army Air Field in 1947 (later named Walker Air Force Base in 1949). Although he cannot recall the actual calendar date or day of the week, the young woman told him that sometime during dinner two men came to the door to get her dad. She recalled hearing them tell him that his services were needed. The incident caused such a stir in the household that everyone stayed up late until he returned.

Seeing that everyone was still awake, the Chaplain told his family that he was called to give religious comfort to some sort of Alien Life Forms near what seemed to be an Alien Spacecraft. At least two of four creatures were still alive when he got there. He described them as looking a bit like adolescent boys, but obviously not human. No one knew what the creatures were or precisely how to care for them. As a result, all of the beings eventually perished. That was the crux of the story.

Al would have been seven and the young woman would have been around five years of age at the time of the Roswell UFO Crash. Despite her young age, one can assume that this event left a huge impression on her and was probably discussed a number of times over the years by one or more family members. Either way, she seemed to recall enough of the story to share it with her date.

As an experienced paranormal investigator, I know that you can second guess almost any story into oblivion. This is the way of most skeptics. They merely tinker with stories, evidence or witnesses until the believable becomes unbelievable. That is not what I will do here. Instead, I will consider the possibilities.

Although there are many missing pieces from this story, it has one shining asset. Al provides a fascinating new direction for Roswell UFO Crash researchers. I never thought to include a Chaplain in the mix of characters who were a part of the military response to the Roswell Crash. It’s easy to forget that people tended to be much more religious in those days. It’s also worthwhile to remember that no one expected an alien spacecraft to fall out of the sky and into a world that wasn’t ready for such an event.

While it might seem hard to imagine that a Chaplain would be considered important enough to be summoned in the manner he was for such an event, it gets easier if you consider the military mindset. When it comes to any branch of the armed services, it was and still is all about preparedness. We have to assume that some sort of short list of first responders for emergencies was always available to Officers on duty.

Despite the unusual nature of the vehicle and occupants which crashed near Roswell, the initial reaction of the military reveals an almost textbook response to what might otherwise have been considered to be something like a plane crash. The local funeral home was contacted for coffins and/or services, a military investigator and recovery crew was sent out to do their job and the press was duly notified. Given the religious beliefs and values of that time, it would not be unexpected to find a Military Chaplain being made available to those on the scene of a disaster.

Under normal circumstances, it probably wouldn’t be that difficult to track down the names of Military Chaplains serving at the Roswell Army Air Field in 1947. However, the task becomes very complicated because the base was home to military aircraft given the mission of carrying Atomic Bombs and personnel were involved in the retrieval and cover-up of a crashed Alien Spacecraft. Anyone who has ever visited Roswell or tried to follow the paper trail back to 1947 knows that peripheral information is everywhere, but tracing down specific information is difficult and the results are not always reliable.

Despite the hardships of verifying a story like this one, the new direction provided opens up a whole new world of possibilities. After all, Chaplains are not just military personnel, but have ties to mainline faiths. It’s possible that the Chaplain involved shared some information with other Chaplains or religious leaders, in addition to his immediate family, before the lid was clamped down or he was ordered to keep quiet. Al’s blind date of forty years ago may prove to be another important piece in the Roswell puzzle.

Is there really a Secret Rapture?
The secret rapture doctrine teaches that the coming of Jesus will be in two separate stages. The first, a secret rapture of the Church at the beginning of a seven year tribulation period followed by His glorious, audible, triumphant return to Earth accompanied by the Church at the end of the seven years. It also teaches that during this seven-year period the Antichrist is going to come into power, sit in a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God. It says that the war of Armageddon is a literal war of nations against literal Israel, which occurs near the end of the seven years and is ended abruptly by Christ’s return with His Church. It says that literal Israel accepts the Lord as the Messiah and enters with Him as His covenant people into the 1000-year reign on earth. Those who ultimately reject Christ’s rule will be judged and destroyed at the end of the Millennium. Is this what the Bible really shows? In Matthew 28:20 Jesus said “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Why would He promise to be with the church until the ‘end of the world’ if He intended to come seven years before the end to take them out of the world? The Bible shows clearly that God’s church will still be on earth when Jesus returns. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” It shows that when Jesus returns His angels will gather His people from the earth. Matthew 24:31 “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” How could they gather the church from the earth if the church had come back with Christ? Every eye will see Jesus when He returns. This includes all of the non-believers and all of the believers. Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” The Bible shows that His return will be sudden, and unexpected for unbelievers and those who have not studied His prophecies. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 says “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” This verse also shows that the unbelievers will be destroyed when Jesus returns. When the Lord returns there will be nothing secret about it. The dead in Christ will rise first, those of us who have overcome the time of tribulation and persecution and are still alive will be caught up to meet Him in the sky. All of the unbelievers will be destroyed and the earth will melt. 2 Peter 3:12 “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” We will then go with Him to heaven where we will reign for a thousand years and the books will be opened and we will judge the nations. Revelation 20:4-5 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus (definitely shows that they were on earth during the tribulation), and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.” The Bible shows that Jesus comes and gathers His people and that the unbelievers are all destroyed and are not raised again until the end of the millennium. The believers reign in heaven for a thousand years, as the earth has been destroyed. At the end of the millennium God makes a “new heaven and a new earth”. All Bible references are from the King James Version.

5 Tips On How To Build Self Confidence Today
There are very few people who could call themselves perfect and be right. Most of us need to build self confidence today, but the majority just either ignore the issues or concentrate on the negatives: stress, worry, jobs, money problems and relationship issues. Concentrating on these areas drains our self confidence rather than improving it.

If you could improve your self confidence you could make more money, look and feel better physically, or just be more relaxed with other people. Below there are five simple techniques that have been proved to help build self confidence today.

1. Talk to yourself. It sounds crazy but it works. All of us have a running monologue constantly in our heads, whether we realize it or not. Everything we see, hear, or touch sparks off an immediate dialog in our thoughts.

For those who lack confidence this monologue is filled with negative messages many of which are the negative side of adverts from television, radio, advertisement boardings, newspapers, and just overhearing other people talk.

These negative thoughts literally suck energy from our minds and bodies and block the flow of positive messages. We need to hear the positive messages as they will build self confidence today and raise our self esteem. Take control. Use your inner thoughts to talk to yourself in a positive manner, as often as you can.

As an example one of my regular sayings is "I like myself, I like myself, I like myself". I just repeat it for a couple of minutes. It sounds cheesy, but does build self confidence today " Try it. I bet that if you go to the mirror right now and repeat out loud "I like myself!" 50 times, it will be impossible to keep from smiling.

2. Dress as smartly and as classily as you can. You wont feel at your best if you don't look your best. You will be amazed at just how much more confidence you will have just looking your best. It just feels good when you are wearing your best clothes, are well groomed, and are surrounded by a clean environment. So what if it is Saturday, you need to build self confidence today not next week. Put on your nice clothes, get the car washed, style that hair! A hairdresser once told me "Everyday is show time!"

3. Increase your self esteem even more by giving thanks to what you are, how you look, and what you are doing. Say "thank you" to yourself to everything you see, all whom you meet, and each smile that you receive.

4. Stand or sit correctly: How you stand sends out a message to the World, and in turn, back to you. This results in improving how you feel about yourself and will build self confidence today and every day.

There is scientific evidence that shows how posture affects our mood. Do not slouch. Slouching produces a down mood. By slouching you are telling the world and yourself it doesn't matter, you don't matter. Standing tall and upright will actually lift your mood. Help build up your confidence by pulling back those shoulders, stop that slouch, and walk proud.

5. Smile. Just smile and things seem better somehow. Practice smiling regularly and get your facial muscles used to the physical act of smiling.

Go to the mirror and smile " make yourself. Not a grimace, but a proper smile. If you don't think you can try this:

1)Open your eyes as wide as you can " (try and get your eyebrows right up to you hair line)
2)Slightly open your mouth
3)Pull the corners of your mouth back towards your ears (If your not sure pull them back with your fingers so you know what it feels like then try again without your fingers).
4)Repeat 50 times. Get your facial muscles used to smiling and you will smile more and encourage smiles from others. This will make you feel happier and with that you'll build self confidence today.
