The Roswell UFO Crash: A New Lead and a New Direction
It’s been nearly sixty years since the crash of an alleged Alien Spacecraft near Roswell, NM. Despite a multitude of credible civilian and military witnesses who claim the object and its occupants were from another world, we still lack absolute proof. As a result, researchers trying to solve this puzzle constantly hope for two things: Actual physical evidence and reliable witnesses.
Because the Roswell Crash took place in 1947, the likelihood of turning up any new first hand witnesses to the crash, military investigation or cover-up fades with each year that passes. The same may be said of physical evidence. Even if somebody found a shoe box full of metal or other strange material from the crash stashed in their attic, they might not even know what it was. That leaves the possibility of second or third hand witnesses.
While it’s easy to dismiss witnesses who didn’t actually experience the crash or aftermath, they can often provide serious researchers with some tidbit of information that can lead to more later. Recently, I was contacted by a man living in California who I’ll call Al. After listening to the late Colonel Philip Corso (author of ‘The Day after Roswell’) speak about events surrounding the Roswell UFO Crash on a late night radio show, Al began to give some thought to something that had occurred earlier in his life.
Al moved to San Francisco, California, in 1964. Sometime in the winter of 1964-65, he was set up on a blind date with ‘a good-looking young blond woman.’ While he could not recall her name or where they went on the date, he did remember an unusual conversation they had at the end of the evening.
Although the two didn’t hit it off romantically, they did seem to enjoy talking with one another. The topics included philosophy, astronomy and science fiction. All very popular themes of the day. At some point the young woman asked Al if he believed in the existence of other life forms or Alien life in the Universe. Al said he did and gave a few reasons why, which included the size of the Universe and the common scientific probabilities of the day. The young woman almost immediately gave affirmation to Al by saying something like, “Yea, you’re right,” and followed up with a most amazing story.
Al’s date began her narrative by explaining that she was the daughter of an Air Force Chaplain. The family lived in Roswell and her father was serving on the Base known as Roswell Army Air Field in 1947 (later named Walker Air Force Base in 1949). Although he cannot recall the actual calendar date or day of the week, the young woman told him that sometime during dinner two men came to the door to get her dad. She recalled hearing them tell him that his services were needed. The incident caused such a stir in the household that everyone stayed up late until he returned.
Seeing that everyone was still awake, the Chaplain told his family that he was called to give religious comfort to some sort of Alien Life Forms near what seemed to be an Alien Spacecraft. At least two of four creatures were still alive when he got there. He described them as looking a bit like adolescent boys, but obviously not human. No one knew what the creatures were or precisely how to care for them. As a result, all of the beings eventually perished. That was the crux of the story.
Al would have been seven and the young woman would have been around five years of age at the time of the Roswell UFO Crash. Despite her young age, one can assume that this event left a huge impression on her and was probably discussed a number of times over the years by one or more family members. Either way, she seemed to recall enough of the story to share it with her date.
As an experienced paranormal investigator, I know that you can second guess almost any story into oblivion. This is the way of most skeptics. They merely tinker with stories, evidence or witnesses until the believable becomes unbelievable. That is not what I will do here. Instead, I will consider the possibilities.
Although there are many missing pieces from this story, it has one shining asset. Al provides a fascinating new direction for Roswell UFO Crash researchers. I never thought to include a Chaplain in the mix of characters who were a part of the military response to the Roswell Crash. It’s easy to forget that people tended to be much more religious in those days. It’s also worthwhile to remember that no one expected an alien spacecraft to fall out of the sky and into a world that wasn’t ready for such an event.
While it might seem hard to imagine that a Chaplain would be considered important enough to be summoned in the manner he was for such an event, it gets easier if you consider the military mindset. When it comes to any branch of the armed services, it was and still is all about preparedness. We have to assume that some sort of short list of first responders for emergencies was always available to Officers on duty.
Despite the unusual nature of the vehicle and occupants which crashed near Roswell, the initial reaction of the military reveals an almost textbook response to what might otherwise have been considered to be something like a plane crash. The local funeral home was contacted for coffins and/or services, a military investigator and recovery crew was sent out to do their job and the press was duly notified. Given the religious beliefs and values of that time, it would not be unexpected to find a Military Chaplain being made available to those on the scene of a disaster.
Under normal circumstances, it probably wouldn’t be that difficult to track down the names of Military Chaplains serving at the Roswell Army Air Field in 1947. However, the task becomes very complicated because the base was home to military aircraft given the mission of carrying Atomic Bombs and personnel were involved in the retrieval and cover-up of a crashed Alien Spacecraft. Anyone who has ever visited Roswell or tried to follow the paper trail back to 1947 knows that peripheral information is everywhere, but tracing down specific information is difficult and the results are not always reliable.
Despite the hardships of verifying a story like this one, the new direction provided opens up a whole new world of possibilities. After all, Chaplains are not just military personnel, but have ties to mainline faiths. It’s possible that the Chaplain involved shared some information with other Chaplains or religious leaders, in addition to his immediate family, before the lid was clamped down or he was ordered to keep quiet. Al’s blind date of forty years ago may prove to be another important piece in the Roswell puzzle.

Magickal Oils of Indonesian Shamanism Part 1
Introduction
Almost every shamanic and pagan culture has its own collection of oils used for occult and magickal purposes. In this article we will describe a few of these "minyak" (as oils are called in the Indonesian/Malayan tongue) to be found in the Indonesian archipelago. This is an on-going project and we may update this article whenever we possess additional information regarding the subject.
There are many oils used for occult purposes; we may divide them into two categories: the ordinary ones, and the extraordinary ones. For instance, Zafarron, Misik, and Gaharu oils as used for anointing and writing sigils, seals, kameas, wefeqs, etc., are the "ordinary" ones. Below we will describe the more extraordinary and unusual types of magical oils. We are not able to personally vouch for the truth of the virtues of any of these oils, or in some cases disinclined to. Their descriptions and use are given merely for the sake of information purposes. It should also be noted that most of these oils are rare and difficult to acquire.

Minyak Hadangan
For centuries this potent minyak is considered as the king of love oils. Not only is it used for romantic affairs by men and women, it is also often utilized as an occult media for improving one's business, warding-off black magic and protection against negative energies.
This oil is said to be derived from a rare buffalo-species only to be found in the depths of the southern and eastern Kalimantan (Borneo) forest, especially in the locale of Muara Payang, Muara Kumam, in the regency area of Grogot. In the tribal language of the natives, the Pasir people, Hadangan means "buffalo."
These Hadangan buffaloes are wild and aggressive, and exists not in great amounts in the jungles and forests. The oil is acquired when the animal is already dead and in a state of decomposition. For occult reasons it is forbidden to kill this mammal for their fluid extracts. While the dead body of this animal is decaying, it oozes a certain liquid which is the Hadangan oil. Because of the scarcity of this buffalo, the oil extract is a rare curio. Only certain brave villagers of the Pasir tribe who are daring enough to make the trip to the forest and willing to spend days there are able to acquire this oil.
The Pasir tribes are well-known for their black magic. Visitors abusing privileges and acting arrogantly often find themselves subsequently suffering from maladies, and in extreme cases even death. The Pasir people normally apply the Hadangan oil to capture, tame and domesticate the wild buffaloes. Their method of calling forth these animals is to add a few drops of the oil to their tracks, and not long after, as though by magic, the bellowing creatures would appear. The buffaloes are then tamed and enchanted by dabbing extra oil onto their hides. Under the influence of the magical fluid, the buffaloes follow the hunters willingly. During the trip back to the village, the eyes and ears of the buffaloes are purposefully covered by mud and cloths by the enchanter so that the creatures do not feel threatened by the presence of other human beings. Seeing humans and hearing their voices prematurely would infuriate them and they would start attacking all bystanders. The buffaloes only feel safe with their captors.
During the early days of the discovery of the oil, when used solely to fascinate buffaloes, teenagers began wondering of the possibility of its application in other matters considered important--such as in amorous affairs! They reasoned that if buffaloes were to follow its enchanter with the help of the oil, the opposite sex would surely have a similar reaction when applied on them. After a period of experimentation they discovered that their assumption was indeed true.
Above we stated that this oil was taken from the corpse of the Hadangan buffalo and that they are not permitted to be slaughtered for occult reasons. This could be an excuse, however, made by the Pasir people for their own veiled motives. Certain other sources inform us that these animals are killed for this very purpose and that it is possible to extract the oil by boiling the body parts and organs of the buffalo for several hours in an earthen pot until the oil is released. It is said this should be done in the forest with no one around and aware of the operation. Before boiling, a mantra has to be recited in the tribal language of the Pasir people:
"Lakung bikat lalu laut pisang sulu
Sisi rampung uyat bikat
Ina tinggang puluk ulu"
The method of use of the Hadangan oil in love spells is to dab a little of it to any part of the body of the unsuspecting subject that one wishes to attract using only the right ring-finger. Before dabbing, the above mantra has to be silently chanted and then the oil on the finger is to be blown upon with the breath that has been magically influenced by the mantra. After being smeared with this oil the subject would have the user constantly in her thoughts and would strive as much as possible to be near the magical operator even if prior to its use the subject was aloof and inattentive. Most love oils are applied in a similar manner.
Minyak Bintang
This oil is one of the most mysterious. It originates with the Dayak Benuaq and Tujung tribes of Kalimantan. In their dialect they call it Olaau Bintaakng, "Minyak Bintang," or "Star-oil." This fluid can properly be said to be the "elixir of life" as it possesses rejuvenating properties that not only quickens sickly or sluggish bodies, but also has the power, as it is claimed, to revive the dead. Star-oil works in conjunction with certain inner-strength training and powers, which in Indonesian occult circles are called Ilmu Kedigdayaan or Tenaga Dalam. In China these are referred to as Chi Kung. Individuals who have mastered the use of the Star-oil and unfolded their inner strength are believed to be able to quicken their bodies with a new vital life force and awaken themselves from the death-state.
In bygone days, while war was still common among the tribes in Kalimantan and even in other parts of Indonesia, there was this competitive search among the warrior caste for occult objects and psycho-physical training that would confer upon their possessors and practitioners invulnerability against weapons and supernormal strength, so as to provide an extra advantage over enemies. The ancient tribes believed that war should be won at any cost and if it could be done cheaply and swiftly with magick, it would be adopted. This line of reasoning seems to have their supporters in contemporary governments doing research into PSI-War technology.
To return from our digression, however, certain tribes of the Dayaks eventually came up with a most powerful creation that gave them a virtue beyond their wildest dream: Olaau Bintaakng. This was the pinnacle of their ilmu, or occult knowledge and only a few people were able to master it. Those who had this oil and its power were usually uninterested in acquiring other forms of Ilmu Kedigdayaan. The oil would also have certain psychological effects on their minds and alchemically transmuting personal characteristics such as cowardice into bravery. The fear of death is here mitigated by the power of the oil.
The Star-oil is manufactured by the shamans of the tribe and because of the difficulty in its production it is sold at a steep price; it is for this reason that most clients and consumers of this oil are rich members of the community. Its origin and formula is not known as the Dayak shamans are secretive in this matter. Very little outsiders know about the existence of this oil and most that do know consider it as "old wives' tales."
This oil can be said to offer some sort of physical immortality--but on a temporary basis if the weakness and limitation of this ilmu or power is known by one's enemies. The method of defeating someone who is a Star-Oil Master is to vanquish him and them immediately separate his body parts and bury them in different locations. Only in this manner will he be permanently immobilized; otherwise, he would just revive in the middle of the night when the stars are out and resume his physical life. No matter how badly injured, bruised, wounded, and killed in an accident or war, when the stars start shining the corpse would hear the "trumpet-call" and respond with vigor--this is the Dayak's version of the resurrection. This process is dissimilar to zombies, the supposedly living-dead. The corpse of the Star-oil master would actually be reanimated and regenerated with vital-force giving it new life. It does not matter if the blood has been congealed and the body in a rigor mortis condition. When nightfall comes, the body would gradually awaken. The effects of the Star-Oil has some resemblance to the Javanese occult powers such as "Ilmu Rawa Rontek," and "Aji Pancasona."
We believe that scientific research on this oil would be greatly beneficial to humanity although the latter as a whole may not be prepared for it yet. Additionally, acquiring a sample of this oil from the Dayaks for analysis would be quite a problem as they are very wary of strangers visiting their communities or giving their magickal items or secrets away.
The Star-oil itself has a greenish or yellowish hue and is very simply applied. All that one has to do is to consume a few drops on a Thursday night, together with the application of other essential instructions from the shaman and this would be enough to provide one with the life-long power. This occult virtue cannot be magically transferred to others unless they likewise consume the elixir. Dying persons when given this oil-potion would be "guaranteed" to recover even if they were to subsequently show signs of death. The Star-oil would have its effect when the stars are out.
Minyak Kawiyang
Another rare Dayak specialty is Minyak Kawiyang, or "Kawiyang Oil." Some also call it Minyak Sumbulik. According to sources this oil originates in the Kinibalu mountains. There is a romantic legend related to this minyak.
In the olden days there lived at the foot of the Kinibalu mountains a beautiful widow who for some unknown reason year after year grew more and more beautiful. It was not surprising that she had many suitors who sought her hand in marriage. For some reason, though, the matrimonial-state did not last long for her and every marriage ended in divorce.
While on her death-bed, all of her ex-99 husbands came to visit, weeping and regretting their past immature behavior towards her. Minutes after her transition, and in the midst of the gathering, a voice from nowhere was suddenly heard. It said to the men that their wife having loved her husbands dearly left for them a chalice filled with oil. They were instructed by this voice to share the oil among them and to always cherish it as a souvenir and reminder of the woman's love, and that they were not to forget her. This oil later became known as Kawiyang.
Putting legends aside, Kawiyang-oil comes in five different types and colors: black, red, green, yellow and white. Each of these is said to have its own special virtues. The black Kawiyang confers invisibility, charisma, authority, and invulnerability to hand weapons; while the red Kawiyang gives an anti-gravity field to the body making it possible to undergo journeys in the quickest time possible. Wide rivers and mountain crevasses are easily crossed with single leaps. The red Kawiyang also gives the ability to command the Jin spirits to assist in physical combat. Green Kawiyang oil has its use in the santet and teluh forms of black magic. This oil may also be used for gaining or maintaining a youthful appearance. It is believed that this is acquired through vampiric activities. Just a dab of the oil on the neck and the head is supposed to sever itself from the body and fly-off somewhere to look for victims in order to suck their blood. Some of the green oils have bluish tints and this is supposed to be another excellent source for the working of black magic. It has the power to de-materialize objects and materializing it again as malicious implants in the bodies of victims. The unfortunate person subjected to such implants pass away not long after.
Yellow Kawiyang oil is used for love, attraction, and fascination. No spells and mantras are needed for this. All that is required is to acquire a drop or two with the fingertips and to apply them in the palms. The two palms are then rubbed together. After this all that one has to do is to touch with one's hands and fingers the subject that we wish to fascinate--perhaps as in a handshake.
Riches and wealth may be acquired with the utilization of the white Kawiyang oil. This is one of the magical oils mostly pursued--for it has the power to instantly manifest money from the invisible worlds. Those possessing this oil are given financial security. Nothing much has to be done--money materializes supernaturally on one's lap almost without supervision or direction to the familiar spirit associated with the oil. Shipwrecks, destroyed houses and buildings, and buried money are some of the sources of this wealth.
White Kawiyang oil may also be used to magically transport money spent in shopping back to us. In other words, money spent are occultly deported back to the spender.
Each of the oils has its familiar belonging to the genie or jinn type of spirits. The etheric guardian of the white Kawiyang oil has the form of the woman who had 99 husbands. The familiars of the other minyaks are said to be sisters of the above Jinn. They are called Camariah, Dandaniah, Tambuniah and Uraniah.
According to certain native psychics who are well versed with Dayak lore and occultism, in order to function, every year these oils have to be given sesajen, or food-offerings, which are not always fit for human consumption. The black oil should be given the blood of a black chicken together with black glutinous rice. The red and green oil requires blood from one's ring-finger and the water of red sugar-cane, while the yellow and white oils need to be nourished with gold dust.
Although they look fluid, these oils have the consistency of agar or jelly and for reasons not quite known they pulsate visibly as though alive. Although we have not personally seen this ourselves, reliable friends have assured us that this is indeed true as they have seen these oils with their own eyes. When poured out of its vessel it shows its elastic nature like rubber glue.
The oils are kept in little ceramic vessels designed for oils called cupu (pronounced choopoo), but not just any cupu, because inappropriate vessels would crack. They should be in their proper colors too. There should not be any mirrors in the room where they are kept, and enough ventilation is required for their proper preservation.
The cupu containing the Kawiyang oil should be placed upon pieces of cloths assembled in layers, one on top of another. The bottom cloth is white, symbolizing "death." The middle-layered cloth is yellow representing "protection." The uppermost cloth, black in color, signify sanctity.
Atop of the cloths should be placed a plate made out of no other material but white porcelain. A mixture of ordinary rice and the glutinous sort should fill about half the plate. This rice mixture is where the cupu with the Kawiyang oil is placed and maintained.
Should the oils be kept indiscriminately without following the above instruction they would soon lose their power. If this occurs, a certain purification ritual must be conducted every Friday and Sunday nights, including full moons to revive the weakening oil. The method is to set up the oil with the lay-out above and then have 3 pieces of red incenses burning together with a lit candle. The incense should be half-consumed before proceeding to the next step. When ready, raise the oil with the plate, together with the cloths above the incense to be purified by the smoke. Have them encircle clockwise around the incense three to seven times. Put the objects down, and then raise just the plate and the oil and repeat the process. This purification should be done for the third time with only the cupu. Encircle the oil vessel 3 to 7 times clockwise around the smoke. While sanctifying the objects with smoke recite the following mantra:
"Jinak ulah raja benila putih nur putih sinar urang gaib"
Once the purification process has been completed the candle may be extinguished but allow the incense be totally consumed.
There is this belief that Kawiyang oil should be taken out of one's dwelling place when a member of one's household passes away. Only after the deceased has been buried is it permissible to return the cupu with the oil to its original place within the home.
It is also said that the possessor of the Kawiyang oil should not quarrel with one's wife or commit adultery for this would cause ill fortune. If violated one should rectify the situation by pouring the blood of a black chicken onto the oil vessel and the plate of rice. This cleansing should be repeated with red sugar cane juice.
This oil should not be passed on to others indiscriminately. It should only be given to others after having possessed it for at least three years, and not during the night for it is considered dangerous to do so. Those requesting this oil should prepare a cupu and a golden scissors beforehand--the cupu to receive the oil and the scissors to cut the rubbery strands. The one receiving the oil should make a promise to obey the injunctions and to properly care for it. The Kawiyang oil should not be defiled by filthy water, otherwise, it would lose its power.

How To Use Magical Amulets
Magic amulets have long been associated with many different traditions. From the ancient Egyptians to the druids to modern day witches and wiccans, magic amulets are symbols of power that can not only be a focal point for your rituals and spells, but can be worn with you wherever you go. Magical amulets provide amazing value within wicca, the occult, and witchcraft. The energies contained within various different amulets can surround your body always whenever you wear them. Providing you a constant source of these energies. If you worship a certain deity you can use the amulets as a form of an offering. In this way you can take your magical amulet and as you hold it, say a prayer to your deity and then place it on your altar as an offering each night before bed, or each morning when you awake. The deities will be sure to smile down upon you for this act of good faith on your part. Amulets used in such a fashion can still be used in rituals and spells, and still worn. However, if you are going to use them as an offering it is best to cleanse and purify your magical amulet each time after you use it in a ritual, spell, or if you have worn it all day and night before making the offering to your deity. In rituals and spell work they can be used as a tool or as symbolic symbols to amplify your energies. They can either be used just for your rituals and spells as sacred objects, or they can be used, cleansed, then worn around your neck once again. Magical Amulet that involve protection are perhaps the most powerful ones you can obtain. There are many different types of protection amulets however, when worn, these amulets can help prevent negativity and dark entities from being drawn to you and attacking or draining your energies. The versatility and usability of magical amulets are incredible. Many amulets already come pre-charged and energized. Other amulets need to be charged and energized by you. Either way however, you can charge your magical amulets quite easily with the proper steps. Some of these steps will be outlined here, and with the many different amulets you can obtain, this post will just go into a few examples. Charging Your Magical Amulets The first way to use a magical amulet would be to wear it with you wherever you go. However, before you wear it is always best to charge and strengthen the amulet before you place it around your neck. In order to do this effectively, take the amulet and wait to perform this ritual when the moon is full. The best time is around 2am-4am and on a Friday night. Meditate while burning some incense that represents that of which you wish to obtain. For example if you wish to have a love amulet, you can use amber, dragon's blood, jasmine, or love named incense. Be sure you are holding your magical amulet in your hand this entire time, and while meditating imagine the energies that wish to have come to you flow through your body and being channeled into the amulet. If you wish for love then imagine love, joy, and fiery passion flowing through your body. If your amulet is meant for prosperity or money, imagine wealth, prosperity, and abundance flowing through you and into your amulet, and then use the appropriate incense for wealth(prosperity named, musk, high john the conqueror). Perform this and charge this amulet in this fashion for as long as possible(a half hour is ideal). Once the ritual is done, let the incense burn completely out and then place the amulet into a velveteen bag that is sprinkled with herbs that represent that of which you wish to use the amulet for. For example if you have a love amulet use herbs such as lavender, rose hips, rose petals, jasmine flowers, and ginseng. Place the velveteen bag in a safe place for a period of seven days. After seven days has passed, you can take your magical amulet out and then wear it around your neck and the energies will be within the amulet, all charged and ready to help you. The other way to charge and use a magical amulet would be to perform the above steps however instead of wearing the amulet, leave it in the velveteen bag and then carry it around with you in your pocket when you are out and about, and then when you sleep, place it under your pillow or within the pillow sheet when you retire at night. If you wish to use your magical amulet as a tool in your rituals instead of wearing it or using it to attract things into your life, one way you can use your amulets in your rituals would be as follows. If for example you are performing a ritual of protection to protect yourself or your home, you would open up your circle and perform your normal routine as you would any other ritual to begin with. During your ritual, hold your magical amulet in your hand as you meditate and perform the ritual and visualize protective energies coming out of the amulet and into your home or into you. In this fashion your amulet then becomes a ritual tool to be use during your rituals and spells instead of the ONLY item being used in a ritual or spell. Cleansing Your Magical Amulets Your magical amulet should be routinely cleansed and dowsed like any other ritual tool in your wiccan supplies, witchcraft supplies, and occult supplies collection. When cleansing an amulet there two simple easy ways to do so that is not very time consuming and doesn't necessarily need to be done within a ritual for cleansing(unless of course you prefer that method) The first way to cleanse your amulet would be to light some sage incense or a sage smudge stick and wave the amulet through the smoke a number of times. You can say a prayer as you perform this if you wish. The sage smoke will cleanse and renew your amulet. Another way to cleanse your magical amulet would be to make up a bucket or bowl with some water and salt. Ensure that the salt is completely dissolved and then simply dunk your amulet into the water a few times to begin with then place within the water and leave it in there for roughly 2-5 minutes. Do not keep your amulets in the water too long because the salt can damage the amulet and make them rust, tarnish, or become unusable.(do NOT perform this if your amulet is made of wood) Remember that magical amulets only are as good as their owner. If you want them to work properly and to help you bring that of which you seek, ensure to follow the steps above and they will bring you a constant source of strong energies for that of which you desire. Extrasensory Perception Or ESP | What Is It?
Countless movies, stories, and tales have spun gold out of the concept of extrasensory perception (often referred to as ESP). Consider popular television shows and films like Medium and The Sixth Sense. People are fascinated with the paranormal Ouija boards and tarot card readings, once considered taboo and even somewhat dark are now popular games sold in Toys R Us. But with all this talk and publicity, much of the origin and science of extrasensory perception has been obscured. The actual definition of extrasensory perception is the ability to acquire information by means other than the five canonical senses (taste, sight, touch, smell, and hearing), or any other sense well-known to science (balance, proprioception, etc), but there are several different types of ESP, as well as interpretations of it.
Before getting into all the different ideas and challenges associated with extrasensory perception, let's first consider the history of ESP. The concept itself goes way back, far before popular culture turned it into a cultural phenomenon of sorts. In fact, in many past cultures (i.e. ancient China and Egypt), it was simply expected that people could communicate mentally with others, including the dead, gods, and other supernatural spirits. While this possibility has been heavily criticized as, at best, speculation and at worst, pure superstition, plenty of accounts (both ancient and relatively recent) have described incidents of extrasensory perception, as well as everyday use of it for divination.
So, the big question is: Do people actually have ESP and can it be proved? Many paranormal scientists have run experiments to test the veracity of alleged psychic abilities and many have come out shocked and amazed at the results. It seems that ESP may be a little more likely than anyone previously thought. In fact, some paranormal studies have found that alleged psychics seem able to foretell the contents of sealed envelopes and accurately draw images identical to those of people drawing the same image from a remote locale. Parapsychology (especially the area of extrasensory studies) has grown both in venerability and believer population. In fact, many large universities now have Parapsychology programs including Edinburgh University in Scotland.
Most claims of psychic readings and abilities are similar to the three most commonly reported extrasensory happenings which include telepathy, clairvoyance, and precognition. Telepathy is defined as mental communication between two or more people. It entails one person sending or receiving thoughts to or from another person via some sort of mental or emotional link.
Clairvoyance is often called a second sight or a sixth sense -- that is to say, the person perceives events happening in a location other than his or her present one, without having any previous knowledge of the event. For example, a clairvoyant person may sense that something is wrong with a friend or a family member to find that he or she was in trouble. They also may know that their house is being robbed as they are out to dinner. Precognition, on the other hand, is also known as fortune telling or foresight and entails the ability to know or predict what will happen in the future. Many prophets (including very false ones) have risen to fame and even religious worship -- through their apparent ability to predict the events of the future.

Pluto moves into Capricorn...
This (used to be) planet takes about 248 years to orbit the Sun and is only 2/3rds the size of our Moon"but it certainly packs a punch! Pluto changes signs from Sagittarius into Capricorn this year. (I still refer to Pluto as a planet"old habits die hard!) It is associated with the zodiac sign of Scorpio and shares similar traits: intense emotions, transformation, taboo, occult, sexuality, trust, and change (to name a few!). Even if you do not have your Sun in Scorpio, everyone has Scorpio (and Pluto) somewhere in their birth chart and this means that this once in a lifetime change in energies will be felt by you. As with every energy, there are two sides to this Plutonian one. One is the side where Pluto asks us to cooperate with others for the benefit of all; to look inwards to see what’s there, and generally trying to make the world a better place. The other side is one where intense emotions can lead to obsessions, and the need for change may be experienced as destructive. Where Pluto moves to in your personal birth chart will show which areas of your life you will need to look more closely at, and where you will want to make some pretty major changes. If you have Pluto touching on any of the planets in your birth chart (and most of us will at some stage), then the effects of this small, but mighty planet will be especially important and prominent. The journey through Capricorn will take about 15 years to complete, giving all of us plenty of time to get used to Pluto’s presence in this sign: it will also allow us the time we need to transform whatever this planet touches in our charts and in our lives. While you wait for the effects of Pluto to come into your life you are welcome to come along and have a reading"that way you will be prepared for this powerful presence (and opportunity for change) in your life. --- live psychic, accurate psychic reading, psychic reading, psychic readings, online psychics, psychic advice, psychic phone, phone psychic, tarot card reading, psychic, psychics, tarot reading, dream interpretation

Occult Fiction: Novels for Your Private Collection, Part 2
No contemporary Occult fiction collection would be complete without Jim Butcher’s “Harry Dresden” novels. This series is so popular with dark urban fantasy fans that a television show, “The Dresden Files,” has been created from the concept.
So far Butcher has written eight novels in the series, and I hear he envisions twelve more. Certainly good news for Occult fiction fans!
Harry Dresden is a Wizard, the only one in Chicago who advertises his services, working from a sparsely furnished office, the level of disarray always dependent upon whether his latest visitor was human or not. He scrambles to make the rent every month, since his cases rarely turn out the way he imagines. This is due partly to a steady stream of questionable clients, but mostly to Harry’s heart, which shimmers with gold and never considers the current state of his wallet.
Harry lives in a basement apartment with no electricity. He uses candles for light and suffers through cold showers, since electrical appliances tend to misbehave in the presence of a Wizard’s energy field. Harry’s “lab” sits beneath the apartment, stocked with hundreds of items used for spellcasting. Here you’ll find Bob, an ancient air spirit who inhabits a dusty human skull and is the source for most of Harry’s spells. Besides being a virtual encyclopedia of magick, Bob possesses a wry wit, providing the perfect touch of reality and humor to Harry’s chaotic days.
Butcher has succeeded in creating a cast of delightfully complex characters, yet each scene in these novels flows as smoothly as city water from the tap. I cannot say enough about his talent as a novelist. Butcher wrote the first book in this series while he was still in school. It was awful. But he continued to tweak the story for several years until it reached the high level of craftsmanship fans of Occult fiction demand. And the rest is publishing history.
Any reader who values expertly written dark urban fantasy, dazzling magick, a fast-paced plot, and hilarious characters should definitely consider Jim Butcher’s “Harry Dresden” series as an essential part of their Occult fiction collection. I know I do.

Why Metaphysics Part 2
Basically, arrogance is an inferior attitude masking as superiority. Inferiority or superiority complexes are both egoic expressions. The human ego often wishes the Self to appear what it is not. Even if we knew a lot, if we have read a thousand books, studied under countless Gurus, have permanent contact with a Cosmic Master, experienced a 1001 delights and terrors, meditate constantly, possess the world, or are powerful in some psychic way, it still does not give us a reason to egoically compare others with ourselves, or to judge them--by seeing others as inferior to us, by labelling them as bad, low, and vile. Many so-called spiritual teachers still do this. They criticize and condemn others without realizing that, spiritually speaking, there is no separation between others and themselves. What we see in others also lies below the conscious threshold within ourselves; what we do to others, we also do to ourselves, what we think of others, we also think of ourselves. What another is doing in the present we may well have done so ourselves in the past or perhaps will do so in the future. There is no need for judgment but a lot of need of mercy, understanding, and tolerance. Essentially, a spiritual being will not indulge in the judgment of dualistic concepts and the relativistic opposites such as good and bad, right and wrong, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc. These things are reconciled or transcended by the mage. St. Paul once said that if we owned the world and all powers and gifts of the spirit but lack love we were nothing. This is felt by all true spiritual teachers and practitioners.
Metaphysics should not be confused with the paranormal nor with parapsychology. The paranormal and parapsychology are simply aspects of metaphysics--using the term in its broadest sense..
In regards to metaphysical experiences we should keep in mind that metaphysics encompasses the two basic divisions of psychicism and mysticism, thaumaturgy and theurgy. Experiences in both fields may be considered "metaphysical," however, a psychic experience is dissimilar to a mystical one, and vice versa. One relates to the perception of events occurring in the lower planes or dimensions, the other to spiritual Self-awareness and the expansion of the consciousness encompassing the Whole.
As can be understood from the above, metaphysics has a transcendent value. It caters to both the physical and spiritual aspects of man. Metaphysics begins where traditional psychology leaves off, it goes where dogmatic religion is afraid to go, it extents further than mainstream science is able to reach with its laboratory equipment--although we must admit that many technological advances have been made in this direction, most of which have not yet been made available to the general public for reasons of censure. The release of such technology would dethrone the powers that seek to enslave the world and the Dark forces are trying very hard to prevent humanity from being empowered.
One of the misconceptions regarding metaphysics is that it is unscientific and based upon superstitious ideas. This is not in our experience. Metaphysics is scientific, rational, empirical and pragmatic, or it could indeed well be "superstitious" depending on one's attitude, beliefs, and manner of approach, or how one would like it to be. This might seem as a paradox and yet it may be reconciled. We liberate our minds or impose limitations upon it by our beliefs and attitudes, and by those limitations we circumscribe our mental and spiritual growth. Our beliefs and attitudes form our basic interpretation of Reality. If a thing is of value, because of prejudice we will not see it. We will see what we want to see, and refuse to see what we refuse to see.
Metaphysics may be approached in various ways. If one has a background in mathematics, one's approach would be mathematical. If one has a psychological background one would naturally approach it from a psychological standpoint. And if one simply believes or disbelieves in metaphysical principles then the result would be in accordance to that mental condition. For instance, if we disbelieve that man may go to the moon we would not exert effort to putting him there. If we believe that we are doomed to failure we would never motivate ourselves to work for success. This concept relates to how we form our own personal experiences in life, our own personal reality. Intrinsically, however, personal opinions do not affect the natural laws operating in our universe. We may discount the reality of gravity, for instance, and yet the law still functions in our everyday experience. The same goes with the other natural laws like karma and reincarnation. Belief or disbelief in them will not affect their existence and operation. Just because these laws are not mentioned by prophets and written about in Holy Scriptures do not nullify their activity. Come to think of it, many scientific natural laws are not mentioned in Holy Writ, does this prove their non-existence?
Though certain aspects of metaphysics may be considered to be speculative, as it deals with the Ultimate Reality, the First Cause, creation, and ontology or the nature of being--what interests us is the application of its principles and direction of Cosmic laws in everyday life. The worth of a science lies in its value, relevancy, and applicability in everyday living. If it is inefficient in aiding humanity to create abundance, peace, health, etc., then it is impractical and worthless. Some people have this kind of misconception concerning metaphysics, they believe that metaphysics is impractical, too abstract, or that it violates natural law and hence, religion; however, the opposite is true. Metaphysics and its principles work in harmony with Cosmic laws and is extremely practical. Applied Metaphysics, as differentiated from Speculative Metaphysics, is wholly practical and essential to daily life. It empowers us with the tools and knowledge necessary to achieve a successful and fulfilled life.
Though the art and science of metaphysics is still in its infancy compared to what lies ahead, there is enough teachings, techniques and systems to assist us live a fruitful, productive and creative life in accord with the Divine Will. The more we know and understand, the more wisdom we possess, the more motivated, focused and confident we are--the more chances we have of fulfilling our mission in life.
There is an on-going electromagnetic regeneration occurring in our solar system in our present "time-period." The present interaction and interfacing of energy fields in the part of our galaxy that our solar system is entering are causing the transformation of worlds and all beings connected to them in an evolutionary manner. Electromagnetic energies radiating from power centers in multi-dimensional universes are affecting and transforming everything in its path or field of influence. These energies induce and impel all beings to rise in their awareness level. They stimulate Man and Nature to form a new relationship based on trust and healthy cooperation. St Francis of Assisi was a pioneer and a model for us in this regard. This friar considered all beings--trees and animals, included--as his brothers and sisters.
The transformations that are currently occurring politically and socially in the world are just a few of the physical effects of the cosmic bombardment of these energy rays. Changes will occur at every level lifting humanity to a new state of being, to a higher level of divine expression. The transmutational process currently operating is represented by the Water Bearer-the sign of Aquarius, and the Aquarian Age. The water flowing from the vessel represents the energies flowing from the Mental, Buddhic and Atmic realms. These are just some of the higher dimensions operating above the personality level. Collectively, these three dimensions are represented by the pail held by the Water Bearer from whence these energies flow, and the Water Bearer as the Higher Christ Self within each individual.
The New Age or the Aquarian Age can be interpreted as the "second-coming" of Christ, for His sign (Aquarius) shall appear or is appearing in the sky in an astronomical sense; he "appears" in the clouds or energies of the New Age, and every eye shall "see" him--that is, feel his influence.
How can we appreciate the value of metaphysics? It takes careful study and analysis with a non-prejudicial mind before a true evaluation can be made of any science or thing. Metaphysics is of no exception. The problem is that too many people have preconceived the nature of metaphysics without having investigated the matter. Some consider it as the science of Lucifer or other such nonsense. All knowledge is essentially neutral in nature. Nothing is good or bad in itself. We attribute a thing as good or bad, right or wrong from the standpoint of our own moral standards or preference and this is constantly changing in consonance with the level of our spiritual awareness.
Metaphysical teachings help us in various ways. It teaches us the existence of the many Cosmic laws operating in the universe and how these laws function in the world of beings. If understanding just a simple Cosmic law like karma helps one to correct misconceptions and alleviate our struggles, and relieve certain psychological pain, can you imagine how the awareness and understanding of a dozen Cosmic laws would help improve the quality and value of one's life? It should be realized that if a person were to cry out in pain to God for an explanation to all of her problems and excruciating experiences, and that if she were confused and at a loss of knowing how to react or respond to certain situations, then it should be known that there are possible errors in that person's philosophy of life, in that person's understanding of the functions and laws of the universe, and the purpose of life, or of the person's personal mission. Since one's philosophy of life is associated with one's cultural and religious beliefs, then those beliefs should be looked into for possible false notions and dogmatic errors that do not reflect the workings of Nature.
True religion brings joy, bliss, understanding and wisdom to the heart, and is scientifically inclined. If it does not do so, and if it simply causes one to believe a thing without offering personal determination of its truth through experience, knowledge and understanding then it may be seen as a diversion from the true spiritual path. We state emphatically here that to be religious is not synonymous to being spiritual. A spiritual person may be religious, but a religious person is not always spiritual. A spiritual person knows whereas a religious person simply possesses faith, which at times may be expressed blindly in the condition called fanaticism.
In metaphysics we develop power, intelligence and wisdom. Wisdom is a blend of knowledge, understanding, and experience directed by the buddhic principle of love--unconditional love. It is thinking with the heart and feeling with the mind. This distinguishes the higher metaphysical development of spirituality from the lower metaphysical unfoldment of psychicism. In a lower metaphysical development we may solely possess psychic ability or power but no wisdom and understanding to use it. We unfold in an unbalanced way. When power exceeds the wisdom to apply it, the seeds of self-destruction is inherent and might be the probable outcome. Advanced metaphysicians have all three aspects of divinity in full development or unfolding in a balanced and harmonious way, these three are: the aspects of love/wisdom, power/will, and intelligence/activity.
The more Cosmic laws and truths we apprehend with our souls and apply in our every day lives, the more spiritual, divine, and powerful we become. The more we purify ourselves from all the dross and toxins in our energy-structures, and the more we liberate ourselves from preconceived human mortal limitations, the more we are able to access divine energies and express our divinity, or our divine attributes. We are able to manifest our Christ Self. The term "Christ Self" should be understood as a component within the microcosm, or Man--both visible and invisible, and as the True Self functioning at a certain consciousness level beyond personality functions and expressions. In metaphysics Christ is not conceived as a historical person but rather understood from a mystical and mythical standpoint. Christ is often apprehended as a state of awareness of man functioning at a spiritual level. This is real power: the power derived from one's own spiritual knowing, awareness and being. Most of the so-called powers claimed by some psychics are borrowed from disembodied entities and are basically illusory and impermanent. Such temporal and borrowed powers in the end may seek to control and obsess the person using them. This is one reason that one should be aware of the dangers in psychicism before embarking upon its development. It is always safer to first develop true spirituality and the taming of the false ego. The injunction is to first seek the kingdom of God that all things shall be added unto us.
In metaphysics we come to learn of many teachings of Cosmic laws and principles that aid us to deal with life, to master our lower self and express all that is divine in us. This is true mastery. The word Master does not mean being able to control Nature or others, it is the ability to effectively work in cooperation with Her and with our fellow man in creating harmony, peace, and abundance in our world, in our shared reality, in our conjoined dream. Real Masters are those who have mastered the animalistic and humanistic elements of their being and are now expressing their god-hood. Cosmic or Ascended Masters do not generally consider themselves as Masters for they realize that they themselves are in a state of learning. Such is their humility.

Make money online with the Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction and the Science of Getting Rich - By Rodell Futch
What are you thinking about right now? The Law of Attraction states that "whatever we think about, we bring about". This law may initially seem like new age fluff but believe it or not, there are scientific merits to this proposition. The top quantum physicists of our time have discovered that our universe and our reality is very much directed by the "observer".
When studying quantum particles (the smallest observable unit of matter), these scientists discovered that such particles behave in accordance with the person conducting the experiment. It the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in a certain way, they do. And yet, if the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in another way, they do. It is the "observer" that dictates the outcome of the experiment!
What does all this mean for us normal people? Well actually, these scientific experiments has far reaching implications for us as our world is made up of these same quantum particles! In this case, we are the "observer" the director and hence the creator of our reality, our world and our experience.
So, be careful of what you think about! for example, have you thoughts ever begun with the following phrases:
I don’t understand…
I don't want...
I’m frustrated that…
I hate my…
I can’t figure out …
I’m stressed about…
I’m worried that…
I should be able to… but I can’t…
Why am I having so much trouble?
http://thesgrprogram.com/?a_aid=60d7b3e6
The Law of Attraction indifferent to the words preceding your thought. Whatever you think about you will attract into your life. When you think "I don't understand why bad things always happen to me?", you are "attracting" bad things into your life. When you think "I want to get out of debt", you are attracting more debt into your life. When you think "I'm worried I will get sick", you are attracting sickness into your life! The Law of Attraction brings about what you focus on even if it is not what you want. Get it?
If you understand this principle, here are some examples of how to make the law of attraction work to support you rather than to act against you. Try observing your thoughts and changing your thinking in the following way:
"I want to get out of debt" to "I want to earn amazing riches"
"I hate my boss" to "I look forward to owning my own business"
"I don't understand why he is so lazy" to "I love it when he helps out around the house"
"I'm stressed about this project" to "I always create amazing results in my projects"
"I'm worried about getting sick" to "I experience vibrant health daily"
Now that we have a better understanding of the Law of Attraction, it is no surprise why so many people struggle with regards to money. It is been said that "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". This is actually the Law of Attraction in action. Because the wealthy have money, they often think about how to best use their money and hence they attract more money. The poor on the other hand often think about their present lack of money and unfortunately, that also attracts lack into their lives. Currently, 96% of the world's wealth is being earned by just 1% of the population!
To address this issue, the main teachers behind the movie is launching a program is called "The Science of Getting Rich" and it is based on employing the law of attraction to create wealth. This amazing program is based on the principles and philosophies outlined in a book of the same title written in 1910 by Wallace D Wattles. This is the same book that inspired the movie.
What is the Science of Getting Rich about? Well in the words of Wallace D. Wattles, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich." The Science of Getting Rich Seminar is all about teaching how to do things in this "certain" way to create wealth.

Introduction to Numerology
Numerology is the study of numbers, and the occult manner in which they reflect and correspond to everything else in the whole cosmic plan. This is because numbers are the reliable language system through which the universe is made understandable, and thus the root numbers from 1 to 9 has a significant effect on everything around us, including we ourselves. In numerology, each letter in the alphabet has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The important sums in numerology to watch out for are the numbers in your birth date and the sum of the letters in the name; when these two are interrelated, they tell a wealth of information about the person. These numbers show a great deal about character, purpose in life, motivations, strengths, fears, talents, and many others. Experts in numerology use the numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. Numerology is used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or relocate. At best though, numerology offers a guide and a beacon to get us on the way; it doesn't dictate what will happen because at the end of the day, it is free will and bravery that matters. Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician and meta physician of the 6th century B.C., is said to be the originator of much of what we call numerology today. The actual origins of numerology pre-date Pythagoras, the most popular being the very old Hebrew Kabbala. In the 20th century, the old science seems to magically reappear in the form of a series of books published from 1911-1917 by L. Dow Balliett and it was helped along in the 30s by Florence Campbell, and within the next few decades a wealth of literature was available to the public. Indeed, if you look at the past 9 decades, it would seem that the science has moved very rapidly. But perhaps all of this was known at a much earlier time, and it was just hiding from us for a while. All the nine numbers in numerology have their own essence. Simply from a person's birth date stems all other important happenings of the past, present or the future that can be calculated through numbers. Nothing is beyond numbers and the stars, and in the believing heart.

Law of Attraction: An Easy Way To Change Your Negative Vibration Into A Positive One
The basis of the Law of Attraction is that you attract things and circumstances that are operating at the same vibrational level that your thoughts are.
The higher that you keep your mental vibration, the better things you can bring to yourself that are also at that higher vibrational level. For instance, when you are start out having a really great day - things just seem to fall into place and keep getting better. However, it works the opposite way as well. When you are having a “bad” day and are vibrating at a lower level, one bad thing after another seems to occur.
So obviously the trick is to do everything in your power to stay at a higher vibrational level. Sounds easy enough, but as you know, sometimes hard to put into practice in everyday life. It sounds great to have someone tell you “just think positive” but how do you do that after you have just a disagreement with a spouse, child, co-worker, bill collector or whatever the case may be?
The answer is mental distraction and this is where great technology can come in. You have probably experienced in the past that sometimes you just can’t get a bad mood out of your system on your own. While I personally love meditation, I also know it is sometimes very difficult to quiet your mind enough after a confrontation to reap the benefits of the practice.
This is where places like YouTube can offer a fun and easy fix. There are so many entertaining, funny and inspiring videos that you can obtain in as little as 5 minutes that can give you the distraction that you need, if even for just a few moments.
For instance, did you know that you can find all 4 Rocky “workout montage scenes” on YouTube? I don’t know about you, but I find I can’t help but feel inspired every time I watch those scenes in any of the movies. If you find yourself in a place where you just can’t seem to get the energy up to accomplish what lies before you on a certain day, I highly recommend you watch 2 or 3 of these clips to get the flow of inspiration. It takes as little as 3 minutes each to watch each clip, but the feeling can stay with you all day long.
How about laughter? I have two clips in my YouTube favorites category that make me laugh every single time I watch them. One is from the old Carol Burnett Show where Tim Conway goes off on a tangent about Siamese elephants just to make his costars laugh. It is called “Tim Conway Elephant Story“. If you type it in the YouTube search box, it will bring it right up. (Or you can go to my website for a direct link.) The last few seconds with Vicki Lawrence are priceless. The second is a hysterical laughing baby titled “Hahaha“. I find that watching either one of these clips changes my mood instantly. Maybe someday I will get bored of them and will have to look for more favorites, but I can promise you it won’t be anytime soon.
How about an inspirational ending of one of your favorite movies? I have the endings of Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Grease, a clip from FAME and many others I just enjoy tuning into for a quick feel-good boost. (I know… I know… they are all chick flicks - but heh it works for me!)
Favorite upbeat song? It is on YouTube. Favorite old commercial? Chances are it is there too.
Want inspiration? Watch the last 5 minutes of the Shawshank Redemption (titled The Shawshank Redemption - Final Scene - Movie Ending ), or the last ten minutes of it’s a Wonderful Life (under It's A Wonderful Life Ending). I cry with happy tears every time.
I even found the opening segments of some of my favorite childhood shows that bring a touch of nostalgia. They have the opening song for H.R. Pufinstuf, Sigmund and The Sea Monsters, The Land of the Lost and all the other corny Saturday morning shows I used to watch growing up. You try and stay in a bad mood while the song H.R. Pufinstuf keeps playing through your head.
Looking for a spiritual boost? The Secret has a great Video out titled “ The Secret Riches Visualization Tools“. An awesome video to watch while having coffee first thing in the morning or when you first arrive at work. It can set the tone for the rest of your day. There a ton more inspirational videos like that as well from all different sources. Just type in Law of Attraction in the search box.
Anyway, you get the gist of it. Think of the unusual. Something that tickles your particular fancy and give yourself a ten minute boost period.
Most importantly, do not feel guilty about it or feel as if you are just wasting time. You cannot put your time to better use, than making yourself feel better first - before taking any kind of action from a negative place. You will see a drastic difference in the outcome. (I do recommend however, waiting until the boss steps away for a moment before playing them. I don’t know if they will be as understanding about your needed attitude adjustment.)
So, go and make yourself feel better in a quick, cheap and easy way!
Happy Creating!
P.S. Unfortunately I am unable to put the direct links to some of the clips mentioned above because many article directories will not accept the html links. But if you go to my website I have direct links to them listed under Pick Me Up Videos in my Free Fun Section category.
